We are looking to add an Assistant Cider Maker to our production team! Our cidery/winery is located in the Hudson Valley in Newburgh, NY.
The Assistant Cider Maker will be responsible primarily for operating the canning line in a safe and efficient manner.
Cider Making operation also includes but is not limited to; cider production from juice receiving to finished product, lab tests and getting products into spec, pack out and packaging in cans and kegs, cleaning and maintenance of cider making and packaging equipment.
Prerequisites:
Cider Making process from fermenting & flavoring cider, testing & adjusting products to spec, CIP tanks and kegs.
Worked on a production line and handled pack out, canning, kegging, bottling and preparing pallets to ship etc.
Experience operating industrial equipment; such as forklifts, canning lines, keg washers, pumps, pressurized vessels.
Comfortable utilizing computer systems, specifically Google Drive/ Google Docs/ Sheets/ G-Mail, etc.
Capable of receiving written/ oral instructions/ tasks, executing said tasks and if need be, problem solving with minimal assistance.
College degree not required but preferred Clean and valid driver's license, have a vehicle Vaccinated Ability to work rotating shifts and adjust schedule to meet production demands Ability to lift 50lbs What We Offer:
