A Glimpse into the life of a Direct Support Professional:
Start your day by assisting the people we support get ready for their day, greet them when they come home after attending program or working at their community-based job, working together to prepare dinner and clean up, assist them getting ready for bed and doing household chores.
When your day or evening or night is done, sit back and think of what you have accomplished and how you feel in assisting the people we provide supports and services to.
You've made a difference in someone's life.

That being a direct support professional you can be paid to do things such as:
Camping, vacations, gardening, picnics, daytrips, assisting the individual's in achieving goals, and being a part of community involvement You also are eligible for paid time off (Vacation, Floating Holidays and Unplanned Time).
