Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Person to join our team.
As a Maintenance Person, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper working order of all physical hotel assets while coordinating the activities with the daily operation of the hotel.
This is a crucial role in maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Duties:
Review, analyze and report on preventative maintenance results of all key property areas including grounds, guest rooms, common areas, pools, equipment, and systems.
Maintain preventative maintenance schedule for all public spaces, laundry equipment, heating and air conditioner units, ice machines, spa and pool equipment, fire extinguishers, fire/smoke alarms, lawn sprinklers, kitchen appliances, plumbing, and guest rooms.
Ensure proper inventory is kept of necessary equipment, parts, and supplies.
Trouble shooting and repair using proper carpentry, plumbing, electrical, masonry, or other engineering or mechanical techniques.
Coordinate work assignments and maintain records on completed and pending work orders.
Follow all local and state Health Department Regulations.
Assist with snow removal and contracted grounds crews.
Maintain a clean and organized maintenance shop.
Communicate with front desk on room status updates.
Maintain a working knowledge of the Fire Alarm/Life Safety Systems and handle emergencies involving the systems Assist other departments as needed Conduct inspections to identify potential issues or hazards and address them promptly Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and plumbing problems Supervise and coordinate contractors when necessary Assist in the development and implementation of preventive maintenance programs Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Qualifications:
Ability to effectively read, write, and speak English is preferred.
Must be able to provide, receive, and comprehend verbal and written instructions and information.
