Nurse 2
Nurse 2/1 provides nursing services to the Developmental Disabilities population residing in our group homes.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
o Perform daily nursing assessments. o Act as health liaison with medical consultants. o Coordinate and schedule medical follow-up, including completion of consultations. o Provide first aid and emergency nursing care. o Provide supervision to the LPN's and the direct care staff on medical issues. o Provide in-service health training to individuals, family and staff. o Monitor and order pharmaceutical supplies for each individual. o Meet documentation requirement i.e. obtaining & transcribing physicians' orders, daily nursing note, semi-annual nursing summaries, health charts, medication regimen reviews and case review summaries. o Attend team reviews and present information, as needed.

Salary Range:
From $65106 to $78941 Annually
Minimum Qualification
Must currently be a permanent Nurse 2 or 1; OR Must currently be a permanent Nurse 1 with one year of post-licensure registered nurse clinical experience; OR Must be active and reachable on the Civil Service Eligible Lists for Nurse 2 or 1.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
